As members of Haiti Foundation of Hope’s Board of Directors, we take our responsibilities seriously. We are guided by the Core Values upon which we base many of the decisions for the work in Haiti.
Over the next few months, I will be sharing our core values in a little more depth. My hope is that you will read our core values and understand a little more of who we are.
Committed to Christ – 1st Core Value
“We are committed to all the teachings of Christ, caring for the whole person (physical, spiritual, emotional, material). We recognize our own brokenness and need for transformation, acknowledging that true change comes from Christ alone.”
We know and understand that we are broken by nature. We do not have all the answers. We cannot fix what we cannot totally understand.
What we can do: We can continue to pray; We can ask God to open our hearts and our minds; We can ask God to help guide us to the best choices to serve His work and His people. We know transformation in Haiti cannot happen without His help.
We cannot do this alone. With your continued prayers and partnership we are making a difference.
