To close out the year 2021, Pastor Delamy invited the community health volunteers to gather for a time of sharing and encouragement. The community health volunteers play a vital role as they help, teach and guide their neighbors to available resources.

The more than sixty volunteers shared about the challenges they had met in 2021. They talked about God’s goodness seen through the resources at the Clinic of Hope.

Pastor Delamy reminded them of 2021’s verse of the year: “One who is slack in his work is brother to one who destroys.” Proverbs 18:9. These volunteers had taken these words to heart and were faithful in the work placed before them.

As a way to encourage these volunteers, each person received a bag of rice. Everyone agreed to share rice from their own bag with two other people. This was a wonderful way to celebrate these volunteers and all that had been accomplished through the Community Health Program.

Madam Elvire continues the food distribution to those in need.

To all who give to the Community Health Program and to food distributionthank you! Lives are saved and the love of Jesus is demonstrated.
