At this time of the year, we hear much about Peace on Earth. Jesus said, “Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.” John 14:27 (NIV)
As Christians, we hope for this and look for this, but in these days of a world of conflict, strife and violence, particularly in Haiti, it is often difficult to find.
However, as I look at this lovely photo of a mother and her newborn baby, I see: Contentment, Peace, Joy, Love and Hope!
Thank you for helping make the Markee Maternity Center a reality in 2023! This gives joy and hope to all the mothers and babies who receive care in this place.
