Before Christmas, I received an email from Pastor Delamy asking for prayers as they were preparing to provide two days of free healthcare and baby checkups for the villages of Dubedou and Finel.
These visits took place on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day offering people a moment of wellness through:
- Free medical consultations
- Health education and awareness
- Targeted screenings (diabetes, hypertension, infections)
- Distribution of essential medications
How proud I am of our Haitian partners and staff who sacrifice time to gift their neighbors healthcare and education, bringing Hope, Joy and Love in these dark days in Haiti.
Pastor Delamy wrote, “This initiative is part of the mission of the Terre Blanche Health Center: bringing healthcare services closer to underserved communities, especially during this holiday season, when solidarity must be expressed through concrete action.”
He continued, “Dubedou and Finel deserve a Christmas of health, dignity, and hope. And we are happy to serve, happy to share, and happy to support life.
