Linda is one of our founding board members, serving from 2006 through June 2020. During her time on the board, Linda was our executive secretary, worked with team logistics and correspondence, chaired the Education Committee and, along with her husband Joe, led volunteer work teams. Linda has been going to Haiti since 1993 and she and her husband lived in Haiti for two years in the late 1990s. While she will not be performing the same roles as before, her passion and love for the people of Haiti will keep her involved as Founder Emerita. In 2020, Linda and Joe were honored to receive the Beyond Duke Service and Leadership Award presented by the Duke University Alumni Association for their work in global health through Haiti Foundation of Hope.
