Ron first fell in love with Haiti and the people of Terre Blanche when Joe and Linda Markee spoke at his church about the newly formed Haiti Foundation of Hope. In 2013, Ron and his wife, Jeanne, served on an HFH medical team for their 20th wedding anniversary. It turned out to be a life changing experience. Ron saw the resilience of the Haitian people and experienced firsthand how God was changing lives. One of his favorite memories was hearing the Haitian people singing songs each morning before the clinic opened. Ron has served on three medical teams including one with his oldest son. His youngest son is anxious to go someday. Ron joined the board in 2021. As a small business owner, Ron has a desire to see young Haitians find success after they complete school, whether that is through furthering their education or acquiring a viable trade.
