Dr. Marck-Edwidge Jadotte, assistant medical director at the Clinic of Hope, recently shared this information about vaccines and the Clinic of Hope.

“Vaccines are one of the most important advances in global health and development. For the past few years, the Clinic of Hope in Terre Blanche has safely provided vaccines that reduce the catastrophic effects of diseases such as polio, measles and smallpox, and help children grow up healthy and happy. Thanks to the vaccination initiatives of the Ministry of Public Health and Population, children can walk, play, dance and learn. Vaccinated children do better in school, generating economic benefits that impact their communities.

Vaccination is one of the most effective interventions and services at the Clinic of Hope. Every Wednesday and Thursday, more than ten children are brought by their parents to receive vaccines based on their age and other criteria. Madam Cilia and Madam Ulysse are the two auxiliary nurses assigned to the vaccination program.

We contribute to the well-being of the community by ensuring that every child is vaccinated.”

HFH is thankful for Dr. Jadotte, Madam Ulysse and Madam Cilia who carry out the vaccination program with care and dedication, and make a difference in this community.
