One hundred fifty women from 12 churches in the Upper Artibonite region of Haiti gathered for three days in Terre Blanche in late July to raise their voices in praise, prayers, and evangelism, but were met with much more. The spiritual was melded with the physical in a wonderfully enriching program that led 11 new believers to say “yes” to Jesus!
A free women’s clinic, ultrasound screenings, and breast cancer awareness instruction by the Clinic of Hope’s medical professionals (four doctors and three nurses) were mixed with nightly crusades, morning, noon and midnight prayers, and door-to-door evangelism. These three days were followed by another week of prayers and instruction for the new believers.
Pastor Delamy described the sessions as “really fantastic” and the women were “more than very happy!”
A bonus event was a celebration of Pastor Delamy’s 35 years* as Superintendent of the Upper Artibonite Conference of the Free Methodist Church in Haiti, a testimony to God’s faithfulness.
This conference for women is a poignant example of the holistic approach to ministry that is happening in Terre Blanche continually. Thank God … and thank you for YOUR participation which makes this possible!
