School maintenance projects are wrapping up in preparation for the start of the 2024-2025 school the first week of October.
Painting buildings, as needed, and repairs or replacement of desks and benches all happen during the summer when there are fewer children on the school campus.
There has been no turnover in teachers or staff for the upcoming year – they are a dedicated and faithful team who care deeply about the students in their care.
The summer school program will continue until the fall classes begin – providing classes and a daily lunch for all the children who come.
We say this a lot but these daily lunches are so important to the health and growth of the children. Food resources are scarce for many families during this time of unrest in the country. HFH is grateful for those who give so these children, and others in need, have food.
Please pray for these children, teachers and staff as they look forward to the new school year. May this year be full of learning, friendships, encouragement, and beans and rice!
