We are committed to the education of Haitian medical providers, both in Terre Blanche and around the country of Haiti. There are limited opportunities for Haitian providers to receive ongoing education.
On February 21, 2015, we will be hosting the fifth annual medical conference at Terre Blanche. The conference will feature five U.S. physicians, speaking on current practices and trends in the treatment of diseases that are prevalent in Haiti. The presentations will be translated into French. There have been about 300 attendees at the conference over the past four years, and we expect over 100 participants in 2015 from all over Haiti.
