“Giving our best for the poorest.”
This phrase has been a core value for Pastor Delamy and the work in Terre Blanche. As the Clinic of Hope celebrated 19 years of service on February 25, 2026, its growth and lasting impact on the community demonstrate this commitment and dedication.
Initially, the Clinic of Hope was designated a Health Dispensary by the Haitian Ministry of Health (MSPP). Because of its good reputation and excellent care, it was later designated a Regional Community Health Center.

Clinic of Hope in 2014
In 2013, the MSPP provided medical staff to open an HIV clinic within the Clinic of Hope. This was followed in 2016 by additional government-supported staff to provide regional care for tuberculosis patients.
Since June 2022, the Clinic of Hope has been designated a National Community Health Center with certification for overnight beds. This recognition reflects the clinic’s excellent reputation, the quality service provided by its staff and its comprehensive care, with medical personnel available 24/7.
In July 2023, the Markee Maternity Center was completed and dedicated with the mission of providing excellent prenatal care and facilitating safe childbirth. Funded by generous donors to the Markee Legacy Project, this center has been a life-saving blessing to mothers and babies in rural Haiti, where maternal and infant deaths and failure to thrive were once common.
Pastor Delamy says that God continues to send the right people with the right leadership skills. Dr. Avril was an early example of this—first coming through an MSPP referral and continuing as a longtime trusted physician at the clinic. Today, Pastor Delamy is very excited about the current leadership of Dr. Montumaire and Dr. Ortega.

Clinic of Hope today
In 2026, the Haitian Ministry of Health designated the Clinic of Hope as a residency training site for Haitian doctors and nurses. Currently, three nursing students and two resident physicians are doing rotations at the clinic. One of these physicians has returned to serve at the very clinic where she was once a patient.
The challenges in Haiti are many, but Pastor Delamy declares “HFH is the engine,” as our in-country partners trust God for wisdom and direction. HFH is grateful for our donors whose faithful and generous support provide medical supplies, medications and other crucial resources that allow the Clinic of Hope to continue fulfilling the mission of “giving our best for the poorest.”
