On a Tuesday morning in April, the students at the Women’s Trade School in Terre Blanche gathered for an evaluation by their teacher, Mme Alourde.
Each student made their own dress and prepared food dishes for this evaluation.
This evaluation is part of the three-year national program which includes: sewing, designing clothes, crafting, cooking with an understanding of nutrition, professional cleaning, raising children, decorating and entertaining. A national exam is taken upon completion of the program.
These women are learning skills that will open up opportunities in the future. We are encouraged by their dedication to studying and practicing the many skills they are taught.
Keep up the good work and we look forward to the next graduation!
