STUDENT LEADERSHIP
There is a Student Committee at Terre Blanche Schools made up of seven students from grades 10, 11, and 12 who are selected by the school staff.
In early May, Pastor Delamy met with the students to encourage them and remind them of the qualities and leadership abilities that earned them a place on the committee.
The committee members have several responsibilities, including serving as role models for other students and helping organize special projects and events, such as the Flag Day celebration held on May 18.

FLAG DAY – MAY 18, 2026
This was the message shared on Flag Day: To raise the Haitian flag today is to remind all of us that carrying the flag is an important responsibility. It reminds us of Haiti’s proud history and the courage of our ancestors. At a time when the country is facing many challenges, the school in Terre Blanche wants to be a guiding light for the community. By honoring the flag, the school is helping students grow into future citizens who understand that Haiti becomes stronger through respect, hard work, and love for the country.
The Student Committee helped plan the Flag Day celebrations, beginning with raising the flag and pausing to think about and show respect for their country. Students proudly marched through the streets of Terre Blanche to show that education helps build a stronger and freer future. Through art, music, and public speaking activities, the students expressed their love for Haiti and the values it represents.
The photos below show students proudly wearing Haiti’s red and blue!
