Earlier this year, Terre Blanche was experiencing another drought and farmers were losing crops. But when the June medical team left Haiti, there was a feeling that the drought was finally over.
Unfortunately, that was not the case.
The drought is back and it is as bad as ever.
Fortunately, a team of well diggers led by Curt King and Kevin Kate arrived recently in Terre Blanche and did a number of miracles, as they had done several years ago.
There is now a well directly in the middle of the market place just one mile from the Clinic of Hope. And there are four new wells in the surrounding area, where water is greatly needed.
A comment made in one of the villages said it all: “we have manna from the ground.”
