Welcome to the tuberculosis treatment center at of the Clinic of Hope.
The Clinic of Hope staff have moved into the tuberculosis lab and consultation building. There is great excitement to be able to provide care for those with TB right in their own community.
The lab building is still missing a few things but with the unrest in the country over the last few months it was not wise to risk traveling to purchase the final items. The lab is functional and people are being seen.
This project addresses a need that community health volunteers in Terre Blanche identified in 2013. In partnership with Medical Teams International, assistance from the Haitian Ministry of Health, and ongoing help from Haiti Foundation of Hope and its donors, this project is a reality.
