During August and September, Terre Blanche hosted 19 students from the nursing school in Gonaives. The students were housed in classrooms which were not in use during the summer break.
These nursing students worked in both the clinic and the maternity center, receiving training and education from the Clinic of Hope staff. They also joined clinic staff on home visits throughout the six surrounding villages served by the clinic.
At the end of their clinical rotation, the clinic staff hosted a special reception to celebrate the students’ accomplishments. Congratulations to these future nurses!
Pastor Delamy shared that it was a great experience for these students. What an exciting “first” for the Clinic of Hope as they continue to grow in quality and reputation.
