School began in Terre Blanche on September 9. It was an informal opening due to the challenging situation in the country. Fuel shortages have made it difficult for people and goods to move from place to place.
Many schools in Haiti are not open in this current situation but the school doors are open in Terre Blanche at this time. Students are being fed a nutritious lunch each day thanks to generous donors who support the nutrition program.
HFH and in-country partners are thankful for the dedicated school staff who provide a quality education and for those in the U.S. who give so children can receive an education and daily lunch.
Please pray with HFH and in-country partners. Pray for peace. Pray for wisdom. Pray for safety. Pray for the teachers and students in Terre Blanche. Pray for Haiti’s leaders and the current situation in Haiti.
