We recently received a report that Scientific Thursdays have resumed in Terre Blanche!
You may recall that these were started by the staff in 2024 and modeled after the didactic trainings that took place during medical team visits to Terre Blanche. With the encouragement of Dr. Jadotte and the leadership of Dr. Dave, these integral times of shared learning have started again.
Every Thursday, at the end of the clinic day, the multidisciplinary staff gather to learn from one another. This particular Thursday, the staff were hearing from the new nursing residents on topics including vaccinations, family planning and malnutrition.
I am so grateful and impressed with these healthcare workers and their commitment to excellent and holistic care for their patients and community.
