Haiti Foundation of Hope – hope is at the heart of our name.
These past few years in Haiti, it has been difficult to see hope. However, we know that hope is present each and every day.
- Hope is in the smile of a new mother after a safe delivery in the Markee Maternity Center.
- Hope travels with the community health volunteers as they go from home to home, checking on their neighbors.
- Hope is heard in the school cafeteria as students eat what, for many, is their only meal of the day.
- Hope is shared through the distribution of beans and rice to those in need.
- Hope is given as caring teachers educate the next generation.
- Hope is communicated through the dedicated staff at the Clinic of Hope.
- Hope lives in the eagerness and future of students as they study and pass exams.
- Hope fills the classroom as women learn trade skills like sewing and cooking in the Women’s Trade School.
- Hope is in the laughter of healthy children.
- Hope is lived out by strong, in-country leadership.
- Hope exists inside and outside the walls of the Terre Blanche Church.
- Hope is contagious.
Thank you to all who support the work of Haiti Foundation of Hope. Your gifts and prayers are another source of Hope.
“May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.” Romans 15:13
