For the third year in a row, the Clinic of Hope in Terre Blanche is conducting a breast cancer awareness initiative, Terre Blanche en Rose (Terre Blanche in Pink).

The clinic is dedicating the entire month of October to expanding awareness, bringing healthcare services closer to the communities it serves and providing medical care. A key focus is on early detection which has a dramatic effect on survival rates.
The month-long program includes increased awareness training, staff training and discussions with patients and health care workers. Key activities include:
- October 19-21: Community outreach through door-to-door visits to share educational materials.
- October 22 and 23: Free consultations offering clinical breast exams and breast ultrasounds.
- October 24: Surgical interventions for patients in need of surgery. The day will end with an official closing of the program.
This program is a testament to how much the Clinic of Hope staff cares about the communities it serves. Terre Blanche en Rose and its focus on community education and early detection will help save lives.
