Florence Nightingale is recognized as the founder of modern nursing and each year on the anniversary of her birthday, May 12th, nurses are celebrated all over the world.
Pastor Delamy shared these words of appreciation with the nurses who serve at the Clinic of Hope in Terre Blanche:
“Every day, you are the heart of the Terre Blanche Health Center. Whether tending to the sick, comforting the anxious, or educating families on preventive care, you consistently demonstrate what it truly means to care. Your resilience in the face of challenges, your gentle hands, and your vigilant eyes do not go unnoticed.
This special day is not only a moment to celebrate the nursing profession worldwide but also to recognize your unique contribution to our community. You are the first line of hope and the steady presence that transforms a health center into a place of healing and trust.
Thank you for the sleepless nights, the kind words spoken in difficult moments, and the silent strength you bring to your calling. You are invaluable.”
We couldn’t agree more…Happy (belated) International Nurses Day!
