Recently Dr. Joe Markee, known as Papa Joe to many, wrote an email to a Clinic of Hope staff member. Papa Joe was commending her on the high standard of professional care she sets for herself and the clinic.
His words, in French with a translation, are true for all the Clinic of Hope staff and we wanted to share those words here.
. . . Je vous félicite pour votre dévouement et vos normes professionnelles élevées.
Quand j’ai vu les photos du cas de traumatisme que vous avez géré récemment, j’ai été très impressionné par vos compétences professionnelles. J’aimerais également commenter l’apparition de la Clinique de l’espoir. Il est évident que vous respectez les mêmes normes pour la clinique de Hope que pour vous-même.
Pendant toutes les années où j’ai travaillé en Haïti, dans de nombreux endroits différents, je suis très fier de dire que la Clinique de l’espoir de Terre Blanche est à mon avis les lieux les plus professionnels et les plus propres dans lesquels j’ai eu le privilège de pratiquer la médecine dans votre pays.
Je vous salue ainsi que tous vos collègues pour le soin exemplaire que vous apportez au peuple haïtien.

Translation:

When I saw the photos of the trauma case that you handled recently, I was very impressed with your professional skills. I would also like to comment on the appearance of the Clinic of Hope. It is obvious that you expect the same standards for the Clinic of Hope as for yourself.
During all the years I have worked in Haiti, in many different places, I am very proud to say that the Terre Blanche Clinic of Hope is, in my opinion, the most professional and well-kept place in which I have had the privilege of practicing medicine in Haiti.
I salute you and all your colleagues for the exemplary care you bring to the Haitian people.
