Haiti Foundation of Hope is pleased to introduce our new board president: Katie Thom, R.N. Katie first traveled to Haiti in February 2008 and quickly fell in love with the community of Terre Blanche. Katie joined the HFH board in 2015 and is on the medical committee, with a special interest in the community health program. Her leadership, communication and critical thinking skills are assets in her new role.
The board of HFH extends a heartfelt thank you to Larry Moore for 14 years as board president. HFH is in a better place because of his leadership, voice, input and knowledge during his tenure. Larry will stay involved as President Emeritus.
We appreciate Haiti Foundation of Hope’s volunteer board and staff who give their time and talents to faithfully serve those in rural northern Haiti.
