This is part five in a series sharing the Core Values that guide the decisions and work of Haiti Foundation of Hope.
Integrity – 5th Core Value
“We act as effective stewards of God’s resources entrusted to us. We seek to make decisions and work in a way that is transparent to others in the spirit of grace and truth.”
When one considers the resources that we are entrusted with, we often think of money. It is so much more than that to us as an organization.
The people who are in our lives, both the supporters and the recipients of those finances are important resources. The volunteers within our organization are valued resources. The prayers we receive each day are an important and valuable resource.
We value these aspects of the mission and we work hard to act as effective stewards. We strive to show, through our work and our actions, that we appreciate the person as well as the donation. The daily prayers help to facilitate the work and guide us through the process. We have a group of volunteers that share on social media sites to keep everyone abreast of the work we are doing. We work hard because of your trust.
“Very truly I tell you, no servant is greater than his master, nor is a messenger greater than the one who sent him. Now that you know these things, you will be blessed if you do them.” John 13:16-17
