Haiti has been feeling the tension of inflation, continually rising prices of basic foods, poverty, feelings of hopelessness, and widespread dissatisfaction with the government.
These tensions tend to erupt in the cities more than in the rural areas where Haiti Foundation of Hope is working. However, the economic situation is very difficult throughout the country including the rural villages. It is for these reasons that we ask for your prayers for HFH’s Haitian partners as they cope with these uncertain conditions.
In Terre Blanche, the schools and clinic are staffed by men and women who give their best each day to meet the needs of students and patients. Maintaining this energy and effort is difficult. Your prayers and support for those who work so faithfully is greatly needed and appreciated.
