Miss Bernadette, Mom and baby
Miss Bernadette, the maternity nurse at the Markee Maternity Center, has been very busy and doing a wonderful job.
September 8-19 were particularly busy days. There were ten births in those eleven days. During that time Pastor Delamy wrote, “There were two births yesterday, one this morning, and two women are in labor now.”
When not delivering babies, Miss Bernadette is in patient consultations with Dr. Montumaire (OB-GYN). She also travels around the community making home visits to follow up on mothers and babies after delivery.
Pastor Delamy says, “Miss Bernadette is working with her heart and the ladies love her so much!”
